We have been listening to requests from our customers over the years and decided to modify our original kit base to allow for a little larger vehicle to be displayed. While the original format of 4" x 6" was decided upon to present a dynamic backdrop and to fit within 5" x 7" frames, we wanted to allow for more diversity with this kit when it came time to finally remake the molds. Though the finished examples at exhibitions and in our gallery show what creative scenes can be made with the smaller footprint, it does make sense to provide a larger footprint and let the modeler decide how small to cut it down, if at all. This kit portrays a street in Southern France from a broad span of historical times, up to the present day. Because the roof is composed of Roman tiles, or tuiles-canales, the building can also be found as far north as the Loire and Lorraine. Other locales such as Italy, (former) Yugoslavia, Spain, Portugal and even Greece and North Africa can be depicted. The large wall area is the perfect blank canvas for a faded advertising sign. The kit includes a cast base, wall, laser cut parts for window mullions with glass, shutters with hardware and a lamp and bracket. These detail parts allow you to display the windows open or closed and the lamp with clear or frosted glass panes. We are also including a selection of water transfer graphics with this new version. Not included are the gutter and drainpipe, easily made from armature wire or plastic straw. The new base measures 5.75" X 6" with 4" x 6" (14.3cm x 15cm with 10cm x 15cm)of street to display a vehicle. The wall is 8" (20.5cm)tall. Full color painting reference, historical notes and assembly guide are all included. This kit will accomodate your 1/32 and 1/35 scale figures and vehicles. Assembly and painting required.
