This scale model kit represents a newspaper sellers kiosk from the early part of the last century. The style of design does not limit the era you can build your scene around and booths of this style can still be found in use today. Though the details of the sign brackets suggest French Art Nouveau, it is truly international in construction. The kit is entirely laser cut card stock with printed details such as newspapers, army recruitment notices, signs advertising various goods in multiple languages, a German train poster and a map of Paris. The etched detail in the "JOURNAUX" sign allows for hand painting in any color scheme you choose, or you can use one of the printed signs. The stand can be customized and detailed as you desire, with suggestions included in the assembly instructions. The kit includes a chair and a folding table. This kit assembles with white(PVA) glue is scaled to work with 1/32-1/35 scale figures.
