This model kit was designed to compliment your 1/72 scale vehicles and figures. It has delicate surface details but the construction process is very straight forward. It makes a nice backdrop and is shallow enough that the whole vignette can fit on a narrow shelf for display.
It is comprised of laser cut and textured sheets of various card, paper, acetate and full color graphics. It represents the front facade of a stacked stone building, indicative of many locales and time periods. The building is hollow, allowing for customizing by adding interior elements or lighting effects by cutting through the back wall or floor. The part that makes up the rafters goes largely unseen unless you want to indicate battle damage or neglect by cutting away some roof tiles. The windows and doors are on one sheet but can be cut apart to appear open.
Not included in the kit but shown in photos are the door knob, added using a small pin and the rain gutter and downspout are plastic half and full rounded rods.
This kit assembles with ordinary white glue (PVA) and can be colored with any paint medium. The parts can be sealed before painting but it isn't absolutely necessary to achieve nice results. Our sample kit wasn't sealed or primed. The building measures: 5.5" wide X 1.75" deep X 3.5" tall (14 x 4.5 x 8.5 cm). Instructions for assembly and applying graphics are included.
