This set was designed to specifically fit the Tamiya Ausf J kit, but will work with any Tamiya kit that uses the same major components. Included are two choices for the front of the fighting compartment, one with a radiating pattern around the mg bulge.
This set also contains two choices of pattern for the upper and lower hull, with vertical or horizontal scores, so you can depict the most accurate application for a particular tank as seen in wartime photos.
Pieces to fit the turret schurzen are also included.
The side pieces for the upper hull cover the entire side and can be easily marked with a pencil and cut to fit around particular hull fittings and accessories such as lifting hooks and the spare roadwheel holder.
The pieces not used in replicating a particular tank can be used for further customizing the model.
We recommend applying to the primed model with white glue (PVA). Using this method allows for the pieces to be easily modified to depict battle damage using a sharp blade, then chipped away from the tank. Edges can be abraded and chipped away either before or after application to the model if desired.
No special primers or sealers are needed for painting but doing so will not hurt the paper.
This set takes the stress out of applying the intricate pattern associated with the Panzer IV.
