1:12 Scale German Helmet

The shape of the German helmet from WWII is iconic and instantly recognizable. At the same time, when the shape is not accurate, that too is instantly noticed. With that in mind, we scanned an actual helmet from the NS factory and 3D printed a master to make our resin helmet. When we decided to create our 1:6 scale helmet, we went ahead and made a helmet at half that scale, or 1:12 scale. This helmet will fit 6" figures and original bust sculpts. We've shown several photos of a plastic collectible figure that is completely transformed from a toy to a model with the addition of our helmet. This helmet can also be considered a kit in its own right with the inclusion of laser cut chinstrap. A helmet this scale makes a challenging painting project with endless opportunities to depict camouflage and wear. Included are 8 full color images of helmets as reference for painting and weathering. In use with all German troops during the war, the possibilities for painting and customizing the finish on this helmet are limitless. The kit ships worldwide for only .50 cents in a padded envelope.
