    With the fisrt quarter of 2008 coming to an end, we were able to accomodate price increases by our resin caster and our packaging suppliers, without having to raise prices or discontinue any Monroe Perdu kits. Repeat customers will notice that we have modified some of our packaging in order to absorb the higher costs. This is regrettable as we firmly believe in presenting our products with a high level of quality throughout. We hope you'll bear with us as we rationalize this step by realizing that once the kit is opened and started, the packaging is discarded, as is the case with almost anything we buy. You'll also notice some positive tradeoffs in that we are using more and more printed photographs, as opposed to color sheets with our kits for both "box art" and reference images. We know how valuable clear, quality images are to completing the kits and it's an aspect other companies have started to emulate.

    Halfway into 2007, you will notice that some of our inventory is changing/being dropped. This is because our suppliers have changed ordering policies with the new year and it is not practical for us to keep carrying some of the special items. We are down to small numbers of some of our Egyptian and metal items and will most likely, not be re-ordering them. If you've been thinking about some of the non-Monroe Perdu items, we can't guarantee that we will be able to fill your order as the months go by.

    As the first quarter of the year ends, we will be making some decisions about pricing and availability of some of our kits.
    Our resin casting contractor has informed us that his prices are rising due to increase in the cost of resin. Our laser cutting contractor has informed his pricing is changing also. So far, no changes but it seems imminent. We may have to raise prices on some kits or drop them from the production lineup indefinitely. This will affect our North African buildings first.
    We are continuing to design new kits and our line is expanding.
    We have some good subject matter in the works.
