This book shows step by step, through photos and text, how Claude was able to realize his goal of recreating the famous Battle of the Bulge icon in 1/35 scale. In his own words, Claude gives historical background as well as thorough documentation of how he was able to problem solve and persevere in order to create his masterpiece. A viable alternative to metal etch and cast resin, you will need no special tools, glues, primers or sanders. Thinned white glue attaches the parts to the model and because it is extremely thin paper and therefore, in scale, it is easy to cut and battle damage sections as desired. The French Village House depicts a forked road at the entrance to the ville. The architecture and details are more rural than typically found along a commercial street in a larger French town. The two garden walls will allow a degree of personalization to your vignette. The kit includes full color graphics for the building walls. We have limited stock of our kit: MPD049 Waterwheel. This kit consists of a cast resin base and wall, laser cut card waterwheel and sluice gate, full color water transfer graphics for the wall, full color photo painting reference and assembly instructions. The scale is 1/32-1/35 and the base measures 7.25" square. The photo shows a Panther tank on the base. As people have differning "styles" of presentation, you can decide if it fits in comfortably on the base before you order the kit with that in mind. 4/08/08 We have some potential good news regarding shipping costs. The Post Office has introduced a new, larger size of flat rate Priority mail box. When you place and order with us, the shopping cart calculates the postage based upon the weight of the combined items. We always check this total and do our best to charge only the appropriate amount for the weight of your box. Sometimes, your order can fit in one of the flat rate boxes and you will only be charged that amount. This can be a substantial savings on shipping. We are anticipating that more of our "typical" kit boxes will fit in the larger size flat rate box. We'll use it whenever we can. 2/17/08 It has been brought to our attention that a company based in The Netherlands has been using our laser cut storm drains incorporated into their resin castings and claiming that all of their work is original and scratch built in house. They have used our products, presented as their own without our knowledge or permission. Our company has worked very hard for more than six years to develop original, unique, quality products and we take very seriously all attempts to pirate our kits and compromise our reputation. We thank our customers for their loyalty and hope people will keep this in mind when they consider where to shop for diorama kits and accessories. 3/4/08 The company using our parts have modified their masters appropriately enough to make their castings unique. we appreciate the effort they've gone to in order to correct their products.
