This page shows the completed model and hopefully you can see the fine detail still apparant after all of the paint coats and weathering process.

I applied some tile grout to the front hull to simulate road dust. The grout was mixed with water and washed on with a soft brush.

I used stencils for the turret numbers. I made the stencils stick by using a glue stick (UHU is one brand) but repositional spray adhesive will also work. The numbers were painted with a small stiff brush. Nothing besides the basecoat was airbrushed.

The spare track hangers and rear attachment for the tow cable are shown in the last photo. I added some clear vision blocks to the periscopes with 1/32" clear styrene strips.
The photo at the beginning of the article shows a Panther G entering the town of Vire in Normandy.
