Now all of the colors are pretty much finalised. I added a spout to the well from a small diameter solder. The sign above the well is a water transfer from our second set of European wall signs.

This photo shows the light fixture being created. The eye ball has been hollowed out with an exacto knife. This is a fairly easy procedure of cutting a small hole by twisting the knife blade and then slicing the white plastic away. The black disk can be used on some other project, so it's worth keeping. The cutting of the plastic can be tricky and I have jabbed my finger with the blade more than once, as the disk slipped in my fingers. I cut a small hole in the top of the dome and slipped the wires up through.

This photo shows the back of the wall and the battery cable. I soldered the light bulb wires to the two wires coming from the cradle. This was another easy task and it was good to get a little more practice. I use a soldering iron, not a gun and I think I bought it at a 99 cent store. Since I really don't know too much about electronics and electricity, I try to keep my special effects projects pretty simple. I decided to really keep it simple and didn't use the toggle switch after all. It's easy enough to just add and remove the battery if I want to display the scene lit. I drilled a small hole in the cradle and screwed it to the wall. I wasn't trying to hide any of the components as it's really "backstage" and not part of the composition. The photo also shows a small divet for the base of the light pole. The pole is just a piece of dowel that has had some texture added with a small rasp. Also visible are small amounts of fine foam added with white glue to depict grass.
