This page of photos shows some details of the window and the phone line connections.
It's important to have good reference if you want to add something like this to your kit. It's a detail that can really add some interest to an otherwise flat wall. It should make some sense in it's design but the details can be improvised and created with scrap material you probably already have.

The second photo shows the insulators to good advantage. These are two different sized glass beads, stacked over a plastic rod.
The lower tier of insulators are dead ends as the phone lines have been cut and removed at some time. Perhaps service was cut back or perhaps phone wire was a much sought after commodity for thieves. In any case, the hotel has pretty nice accomodations with phone service and indoor plumbing at least to a sink.

The third photo shows the G.I. dogtags. These are just small scraps of paper. The window panes are cut down the middle and backed with acetate, attached with white glue.

The fourth photo was taken outside in the bright sun. It gives a good feel of a Mediterranean location. The roof tiles are painted in a palette of ochres, tans, pinks and some light rust colors.
