Here are some photos of the finished kit and a quick review or actually, some observations.
I was very impressed with the kit and perhaps a little frustrated with all of the small parts. I don't really enjoy building kits, so I like as few parts as possible. I was surprised that there were no vision blocks in the commanders cupola. I was able to make some with small pieces of plex, the back sides painted black. I had a little struggle getting the hull to sit flat and to glue to the back plate but I'm assuming it was something I didn't do correctly. There were a couple of "mystery" parts that I glued under the sponsons at the rear, below the lockers. I don't have the part numbers handy but I ended up taking them off because I couldn't find any photos of either real tanks or models that showed these parts so prominently. I was also surprised that there were no screens included for the air vents. I made some from wedding "tuile" and I now have more of that than I will ever need. The track links do have a number of ejector pin marks but these are not impossible to deal with either.

This was a good opportunity to use a set of our "Bazooka Shields" and these are definitely an improvement over the kit parts. I wanted the tank to look as though it had seen some use but that it is basically well maintained and in good fighting shape. I arranged the tools and accessories based from photos and kept equipment clutter to a minimum. I added a spare roadwheel to the rear deck and a grenade case to the side of the hull. These cases were used for a lot of things by removing the grenade rack from inside. It's the reason a case complete with the rack is not common on todays collectors market.
